Apartheid Museum

Life under apartheid is at the apartheid museum in South Africa.  Apartheid was a very bad thing and it started in the 1960s. Apartheid began in the 1960s but it really began to harden in the late 1960s.  Ernest cole was the best documentary photographer of his generation.  The photos that cole took in the late 1960s were in his book called “House of Bondage”, but that book was banned in South Africa because of Apartheid.  The museum show cole’s photographs to all of South Africa. So all of South Africa was able to see cole’s photographs that is one reason the museum is so important.  It is really to bad in the late 1960s nobody was allowed to see Cole’s photographs.
